The “Tattoo Cruise” is Europe’s first floating tattoo convention on a cruise ship. Here, guests can experience the authentic atmosphere of a tattoo convention on the high seas whilst enjoying the amenities of a cruise ship. Top-class bands from the metal, punk, rock and country genres will be performing on board.
The “Tattoo Cruise” will take place from 15 to 21 April 2027 on the Mein Schiff 4.
The 6-day event cruise aboard the Mein Schiff 4 sets sail from Palma de Mallorca and takes guests via Civitavecchia, Marseille and Barcelona, before returning to Mallorca. Of particular interest to tattoo enthusiasts: the entire tattoo convention programme, featuring workshops, concerts and other highlights on board, is already included in the cruise fare. In addition, meals in almost all restaurants, as well as drinks such as beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocktails and various wines, plus a wide selection of spirits and long drinks, are included even outside mealtimes and in almost all bars and lounges.

The “Tattoo Cruise”, including meals and the on-board convention programme, costs from €899 per person in an inside cabin based on double occupancy, on the Plus package. The price includes all meals in almost all restaurants. In addition, drinks are included outside mealtimes and in all bars and lounges – such as beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocktails and various wines, as well as a wide selection of spirits and long drinks, available in almost all bars and lounges.
In each port, we offer an excursion program adapted to the wishes of our guests. The excursions are not included in the tour price, but can be booked before the trip on the Internet in the section "Meine Reise".
On the “Tattoo Cruise”, all meals in most restaurants are already included in the price of the trip. Even outside mealtimes, and in all bars and lounges, items such as beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocktails and various wines, as well as a wide selection of spirits and long drinks, are included. The price of the trip includes the tattoo convention as well as all on-board concerts featuring The BossHoss, Knorkator, Sick of It All and many other top acts – in short, everything that goes with a tattoo convention and a themed event trip. Use of the spa and sauna facilities, various sports activities and tips are also included in the price of the trip.
"Wildcat Tattoo Drinks Included" means that even outside meal times and in all bars and lounges, for example, beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, non-alcoholic cocktails, and various wines are free. A wide selection of spirits, cocktails, and long drinks are also included from 18:00.
During the “Tattoo Cruise”, all restaurants on board are open at their usual times. These are determined by the on-board programme, the time spent in port and the excursion schedule. For night owls, the Tag & Nacht bistro on Deck 5 is open round the clock. Here, guests can still enjoy snacks such as burgers or currywurst with chips even at night. Our buffet restaurant, Anckelmannsplatz, will also be offering a special selection of hot dishes at night, especially for the “Tattoo Cruise”.
To take part in the “Tattoo Cruise”, guests must be at least 18 years old or be travelling with at least one parent or guardian.
There is no dress code on the ‘Tattoo Cruise’. However, we would kindly ask that you do not wear swimwear when visiting the restaurants.
All cabins and many public areas are non-smoking areas on Mein Schiff 4. Smoking is allowed only on the private balconies and verandas and in the areas marked accordingly. All tobacco products must be completely extinguished in the ashtrays provided. To keep the risk of fire as low as possible, there is a strict ban on throwing cigarettes or other tobacco products overboard from the outside decks, balconies, or verandas.
You have Wi-Fi access in almost all public areas as well as your cabins. In addition, please note that reception is limited. Various daily and volume rates are available on all ships. Tattoo-Convention
As is also customary at tattoo conventions on land, the tattoo artists are contacted directly and a possible booking is arranged. The design of the price for a tattoo is up to each artist. Contacting them early will increase your chances of getting an appointment. There will be some artists on board who will also accept walk-ins. Once the artists are posted on the cruise details page, bookings can be made.
Tattoos or other services provided by the artists cannot be settled via the board account. Payment is made in advance directly to the artist or in cash onboard. Each tattoo artist decides on his own.

In cases of bad weather or high swell, tattooing may not be possible. Each tattoo artist decides on the feasibility on his own. There is no claim to be tattooed on board.

In principle, every guest has an equal chance. As tattoo artists naturally have limited capacity, we cannot guarantee that every guest will return home with a new holiday souvenir. To increase your chances of getting a new tattoo, we recommend contacting a tattoo artist you trust well in advance and booking an appointment.
In the event of bad weather or rough seas, it may not be possible to have a tattoo. Each tattoo artist decides for themselves whether it is feasible. There is no guarantee that you will be able to have a tattoo on board.

Music/Program
The full music programme for the upcoming Tattoo Cruise will be announced shortly.
Many of the concerts will take place on the pool deck. Some concerts may also take place in other locations, such as the theater or the Schau Bar. The exact times can then be found in the running order in the daily program. If concerts are not possible on the pool deck due to weather, there will be two performances in the theater. This way, we guarantee that all cruise guests will be able to enjoy a live experience with the bands.

Die Running Order der „Tattoo Cruise“ steht derzeit noch nicht fest. Grundsätzlich wird es aber so sein, dass die Auftritte an Bord an die Liegezeiten im Hafen angepasst werden.

The concerts on board are already included in the cruise fee and do not need to be reserved in advance. The excursions, which are subject to a charge, can be reserved four months before the start of the cruise on the Mein Schiff website in the "Meine Reise" section under the shore excursions heading. Guests will be informed by TUI Cruises as soon as the excursions can be reserved.
Welche Künstler die ganze Reise über mit an Bord bleiben und in welchen Kabinen sie untergebracht sind, wird nicht bekanntgegeben. Es wird jedoch auf der „Tattoo Cruise“ keinen abgetrennten Künstlerbereich geben.
